The hotel is gorgeous, really nice design and lovely pool and pool bar. Our room was a standard twin room on the ground floor, with a terrace. The room was massive, and bathroom was really spacious as well with a really good walk in shower. Lots of great design touches from the lobby to the room. It felt like a luxury experience, for a mid range price. The staff were all very nice helpful and friendly, able to help with transport and tours (eg tuktuk to the bat cave was very easy with a knowledgeable English speaking guide). The owner Pat was also very friendly and has written info on Battambang that is in the room. The hotel is eco conscious and has filtered water available in reusable bottles, and reducing plastic in using metal straws at the bar. Breakfast was very good, and even has vegan options and soy milk. Location is OK, there is a nice art gallery around the corner with local artists. The street of the hotel had a lot of bars we didn't go to - the hotel bar is so good. If it's not too hot it's a short walk across the river to the central part of town. We stayed 20 May 2024 for 3 nights.

Amy

Everything. Very prompt replies prior to arrival from Pat. He is a great guy to be around and obviously cares very much for his hotel and it's customers. Our room was huge and built like we were in the jungle. Bathroom was also lovely. Balcony overlooked the garden. Pool was spotless with enough sun loungers for everyone. Bar area good fun......draft beer cold! We ate here on the first night and again it was faultless. A ' massive' menu of both Western and Asian choices. Centrally located. Also has a library. We had a beer or two with Pat and his lovely friend Sam who owns Pomme in town ..would also highly recommend Pomme.

John

Thoughtfully designed rooms with comfortable beds and beautiful tiled floors. Well maintained swimming pool and excellent bar/ restaurant. Staff members were friendly, helpful & efficient and able to book onward tickets and good, English speaking tuktuk drivers. There's an excellent list of sight seeing suggestions in the room - even this 4th time visitor to Battambang was able to find quite a few new places to explore. Bambu is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Ear plugs are provided if the neighbouring bars are too noisy. In my downstairs room I could only just hear the music.

Anne

I liked the availability of the staff, very nice people. I liked the room, really something unusual where there are only tiles leaning on the roof, but it has its charm, it's something original. The bathroom very spacious. Possibility to have both air conditioning and fan for those who bother the air conditioning. The noise of nature was also something spectacular. I really liked the 3-4 sheets of documentation of what there is to do in Battambang, it really helps a customer like yours truly who comes from far away and does not know the place. The name of the hotel reflects the structure.

Leonardo

The reception staff upgraded our room without extra charge as I preferred not to be on the ground floor, thank you very much! The room is constructed in Khmer pattern, solid wood and well designed, with a large bathroom The whole hotel architecture is lovely with a beautiful garden and a clean pool. The bar has an extensive drinks list and the cooked breakfast is superb. We also had tasty, freshly made dinner twice and it was delicious, under the moonlight, with a view over the garden. The owner is involved and everything runs smoothly.
